So, in September 2007 a curly coated retriever named Zhaklin went for her first hunting field to town Galich in Kostomskaya Oblast.
Zhaklina was taken there in spring, but she hadn't opportunity to show her ability, and she was too young that time. Month of September is the best time for training and we did the training.
As a result of our 10 days' trip we can mark the demonstration of hunting interest, which is not bad in itself! It means that there is a basis and the rest is just a training. The total mark - "satisfactory";

terrain orientation - 5;

I can say, quite well for the start.
Managed to work on woodcock, but in future should shorter the search (a lot of passion), as for the black grouse - not enough birds for training. And more important - there were no brood. It's difficult to work for black grouse even for an experienced dog!
And especially for the fist field dog.
